CURRENT PROJECTS
Greenshoot Consulting is working across a number of exciting new projects with clients ranging from state and local governments, tertiary institutions, private companies and not-for-profits.
Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project
Greenshoot Consulting has been engaged by Cross Yarra Partnerships (CYP), the consortia responsible for the delivery of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel, to undertake engagement with Wurundjeri, Boon Wurrung and Bunurong Traditional Owner groups in relation to the public realm design of the five new station precincts and to work with Traditional Owners to support the ongoing design development of specific elements within each station precinct.
North East Link Northern Package
Greenshoot Consulting have been engaged to assist in consultation with Wurundjeri to embed Indigenous Knowledge and Culture into the design DNA of the North East Link Northern Package, which is located at the T-intersection of the Greensborough Bypass and the Western Ring Road M80. The site will be the last connecting link to the ring road around Melbourne. Whilst being a transformative infrastructure project for the State of Victoria, the project has the potential to recognise and celebrate the rich history of Wurundjeri culture and occupancy in the region.
Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre
Greenshoot Consulting has been engaged by Warren Mahoney on behalf of Darebin City Council to undertake cultural and historical mapping and Traditional Owner engagement for the redevelopment of the Northcote Aquatic + Recreational Centre. Through consultation feedback from Wurundjeri Traditional Owner, Greenshoot is currently working with the Warren Mahoney and Greenaway design teams to embed Traditional Owner knowledge and culture into the development of the site.
Harkness Development
Greenshoot Consulting has been engaged by the Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust to undertake engagement with the Wurundjeri Traditional Owner group, develop wayfinding, and develop an art strategy for the Harkness Cemetery site - which is set to be the largest cemetery built in the last 100 years and aims to reimagine the public cemetery. The Harkness development is a landmark opportunity to transform the traditional public cemetery and identify its emerging uses to best serve our increasingly diverse and continually changing community.
Shepparton Art Museum - Aboriginal Engagement Plan
Greenshoot Consulting is working with the team at Shepparton Art Museum to develop an Aboriginal Engagement Plan to continue to strengthen a meaningful and reciprocal relationship with the local Aboriginal community as well as with First Nations artists and arts workers from across the country. The Plan is being developed through feedback from the local community as well as national visual arts stakeholders and will identify tangible actions to guide SAM's activities to help reframe how it engages with Aboriginal artists and communities.
